About me

My name is Kaisa Sazama-Framil, and I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I’m a political science major, I chose to major in political science because I’m very passionate about social issues. I believe that this major will best prepare me to make a career out of activism. I would like to get more involved in community organizing in Boston and hopefully be able to help as many people as I can.

In recent years I participated in several workshops, seminars, and programs dedicated to social change and empowering young people of color. Through these experiences, I became more immersed in my world views and how I can work to achieve them. I learned how to be the best ally I can be as well as reflecting on the oppression I have faced.

Outside of social justice, I love spending time with my friends and family. I love animals and have fostered kittens a couple of times. A big part of my love for animals comes from the fact that I’ve always had pets, I currently have two cats Itsy and Cleo. New England has some truly beautiful nature that has given me an appreciation for the earth, so I try my best to live sustainably and reduce my carbon footprint.
